The new leaders will enable the company to scale its offerings amidst an ever-changing fundraising landscape.
MissionWired, a leading full-service digital agency and data provider that drives critical fundraising outcomes for non-profits, democratic committees, and individual campaigns, today announced the hiring of Kate Kline as its new president and Karolina Karr as its chief people officer.
"In an increasingly complex fundraising landscape, nonprofits and campaigns deserve the absolute best in strategy, creativity, and technology to enable them to grow their support and achieve their missions," said Anne Lewis, CEO of MissionWired. "Providing stellar marketing and fundraising strategies for these organizations is our North Star, and with Katie and Karolina joining our team, we are confident we will continue to evolve across these dimensions and support the critical missions of the entities we represent."
Kline has an extensive background in client services at The Advisory Board Company and spearheaded a period of high growth at ZocDoc. Her experience will be invaluable to advancing the work of MissionWired and the organizations it serves. She was recently appointed as MissionWired’s first independent board member and will be responsible for leading its agency practice, ensuring a cohesive, integrated experience that helps nonprofits and campaigns grow revenue and build bigger communities across direct marketing channels, online and offline.
Karr was the former chief people officer at both ZocDoc and Brunswick Group before joining the team at MissionWired. Her role will be focused on providing the company’s mission-driven employees with an experience that honors the talents and passions that have fueled record-breaking performance for its partners.
In addition to its strategic services, MissionWired developed The Digital Co-Op, the top-performing source of email and SMS acquisition for nonprofits and campaigns. Since its launch, The Digital Co-Op has grown to more than 200 members who have raised more than $150 million for their missions. In April 2022, MissionWired acquired Chapman Cubine Allen and Hussey (CCAH) to become the first and only digital-first, direct marketing company for nonprofits and political campaigns. The two companies have since integrated fully as MissionWired.
"At every turn, we’ve become more dynamic and better able to solve not only the current challenges our clients face but also anticipate where the landscape is shifting to ensure they are on the forefront of their industries," said Lewis. "We will not wait to see what the future of direct marketing entails—we’re shaping that future today."
