Ms. Ceccarelli brings extensive experience spanning nonprofit leadership, fundraising, technology, and organizational growth. Most recently, she served as Chief Executive Officer of NPower, a national nonprofit focused on creating pathways to economic prosperity through technology training and career development. During nearly a decade as CEO, Ms. Ceccarelli helped significantly expand NPower’s reach and impact, growing the organization into an approximately $35 million national platform while expanding its programs into new markets.
Prior to NPower, Ms. Ceccarelli held senior leadership roles at United Way of New York City and the Wildlife Conservation Society, where she led fundraising, donor engagement, brand strategy, and other strategic initiatives. At the Wildlife Conservation Society, she oversaw efforts responsible for generating more than $85 million annually in programmatic and unrestricted funding. Earlier in her career, Ms. Ceccarelli held technology, marketing and strategy roles at Procter & Gamble and NBC.
Ms. Ceccarelli’s combination of nonprofit operating experience, fundraising expertise and technology leadership brings a valuable perspective to MissionWired as the Company continues to expand its capabilities and find new ways to help mission-driven organizations engage supporters, grow donor communities, and increase fundraising impact. MissionWired has continued to broaden its platform across digital fundraising, direct mail, data and analytics, and strategic services, including through the recent combination of BWF and Zuri Group to form BWF Zuri.
“Bertina has spent her career at the intersection of mission, technology and growth, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the MissionWired Board,” said Kate Kline, CEO of MissionWired. “She understands firsthand the opportunities and challenges facing nonprofit leaders and fundraisers, and she also brings the perspective of an accomplished operator who has successfully scaled a mission-driven organization. As we continue to grow and expand how we serve our partners, Bertina’s experience and insight will be incredibly valuable.”
“MissionWired has built an impressive platform around a simple but powerful objective: helping mission-driven organizations connect with more people and generate greater impact. Having spent much of my career leading and supporting nonprofits, I’ve seen how important the right combination of strategy, storytelling, data and technology can be to advancing a mission. I’m excited to join the Board and work alongside Kate and the broader MissionWired team as the Company continues to grow and innovate on behalf of its clients,” said Bertina.
