StoneGoff Partners ("SGP”), a growth-oriented private equity firm focused on tech-driven B2B service companies, today announced Sarah Dekin and Dan Allred as the newest members of the FS Vector ("FSV”) Board of Directors. FSV, an SGP portfolio company, is a leading provider of strategic advisory and advocacy solutions to innovative financial services companies.
Ms. Dekin is currently President & COO at Hometap, a Boston-based fintech company offering homeowners a loan alternative that provides cash today in exchange for a share in their home’s future value. Prior to Hometap, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at Virgin Money. Mr. Allred was most recently a senior leader of Silicon Valley Bank’s fintech team, leading cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives across product, strategy, compliance, risk, and legal.
"The addition of Dan and Sarah to the FSV Board adds significant value as we collectively work to achieve the company’s strategic vision and reinforce its position as an industry leader," said Hannah Stone Craven, Co-Founder and managing Partner of SGP. "We are excited to tap into their wealth of experience and expertise and leverage their vision in support of CEO John Beccia and his founding team at FSV.”
SGP announced its investment in FS Vector in April 2023 with a focus on the continued development of service offerings, expansion of its team, and pursuit of complementary M&A.
"Innovation is always challenging, and innovating in financial services brings the additional complexity of navigating an ever-changing regulatory landscape. FS Vector has proven to be a valuable partner and trusted advisor for fintechs and other companies innovating in payments, lending, banking, and other areas of financial services,” said Mr. Allred. "This is mission-critical work directly impacting the success or failure of new products in-market. The experienced management team at FS Vector combined with the expertise from Stone-Goff sets up FS Vector to be the dominant player for advisory and advocacy in the fintech space.”
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., FSV was founded by long-time industry and regulatory experts John Beccia and Raj Date, leveraging their deep domain expertise, operational specialization, and extensive policymaker relationships to offer clients a comprehensive set of advisory and advocacy solutions for navigating a complex regulatory and compliance environment.
"FS Vector brings to its clients a deep understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape, providing guidance that removes one of the largest obstacles to building and scaling innovative and compliant fintech businesses, and it is a privilege to join the FSV Board,” said Ms. Dekin. "Working previously with the Stone-Goff team as a board member of Danforth Advisors, I know firsthand the collaborative and constructive relationships SGP fosters with portfolio company leadership, including a unique respect for their companies’ domain expertise, and I look forward to that same thoughtful engagement with FSV."
